Owner, instructor, and 40+ years of riding experience, equestrian enthusiast Crystal Caban has the education to help horses and riders of various levels. She began giving riding instruction in her parents backyard at age 16, began training horses for clients in her early twenties, and has continued to grow her program into the tight knit community of horse lovers it is today.
About The Owners
Mr. & Mrs. Caban
Crystal attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, was on the intercollegiate equestrian team, and graduated with a Masters in Educational Psychology and Special Education. She has been a high school Special Education teacher for 22 years, and teaches at Ellenville High School. Her goal is to share her love for horses with as many community members as possible for affordable rates.
Owner, Equipment manager, assistant, and husband Michael Caban ensures the inner workings of the farm are always functioning at the proper capacity. Michael attended New Paltz college for business, and has been a Corrections Officer at Eastern State Penitentiary for almost 20 years.
The farm was named after their daughters, mini owner Winnie and mini owner Calista Meadows. Both girls are heavily involved in the riding and training aspects of the business. Winnieś Meadows is a family affair, and we strive to involve other families of the community in our equestrian endeavors.
