An event over hunting territory or cross country that has a time that is set (and not known by the riders) called an optimum time that is usually based on a "hunting pace." Required to go out as a group of 2 or more, and you ride a set course. All jumps have “go arounds”.  Students ride with instructor and/or instructors assistant.

*note; Students MUST be riding at a walk/trot/canter level, jumping at least cross rails, and have some trail riding experience in order to participate in a hunter pace.
